Deliverables
All projects must submit a complete engineering ePortfolio demonstrating technical rigor, documentation quality, and community impact.
Required components include:
- Engineering problem statement with criteria and constraints
- Requirements brief
- Engineering design package (models, drawings, prototypes)
- Standards compliance justification
- Risk and safety assessment
- Verification and Validation (V&V) plan and results
- Partner engagement log
- Partner evaluation
- Student reflection
- Final presentation
These deliverables collectively demonstrate:
- Engineering competency
- Professional documentation
- Sustainable implementation and usability
Recognition and Impact
Eligible projects may be selected for:
- Community Engagement Competition and Awards
- Rutgers School of Engineering Senior Design Symposium
The program supports:
