The School of Engineering provides engineering education programs and initiatives specifically geared to students and educators through the Rutgers University Engineering Education Initiative (E2I). Established to ensure an equitable and excellent engineering education to all students and contribute to the body of knowledge within the engineering education research community, E2I provides resources for educators, students, and parents.
TARGET
TARGET: The Academy at Rutgers for Girls in Engineering and Technology is a summer program designed for middle school and high school students to increase awareness and familiarize them with career opportunities within engineering.

The Governor’s School of New Jersey Program in Engineering & Technology at Rutgers University is an intensive residential summer program that brings together some of New Jersey's most talented and motivated high school students.
CHANGE Program
CHANGE, an inclusive program open to all Rahway 7th and 8th Grade Academy students, focuses on exposing participating students to the field of engineering.
The Rutgers Honors Engineering eXperience (RHEx)
RHEx is a new summer immersion program from Rutgers School of Engineering that allows pre-college students to delve into the field of engineering at a critical point in time before submitting college applications. The residential, one-week program is open to rising high school seniors and offers the opportunity to learn more about the diverse engineering disciplines and career choices through workshops, hands-on activities, labs and projects.
