Learn the core principles of aerospace engineering in a wide range of classes that touch on its applications to different fields. You’ll conduct research experiments in small-group labs, with projects on engines, propulsion systems, 3-D printing, radiation, flow visualization, and fluid-solid interactions. You’ll work with dedicated teaching faculty who are experts in their specialization fields. And you’ll use state-of-the-art facilities like our new new Emil Buehler Aerospace Lab — a two-story testing space for drones and aerospace projects, with its own supersonic wind tunnel — and FAA-designated test sites for integrating drones into aviation airspace.
In your senior year, you’ll conduct a year-long design project where you’ll work in a team to conceptualize, design, and manufacture your own aerospace system prototype.
