Dean of Undergraduate Education
Peng Song, Ph.D.
Dean Song is responsible for providing strategic advice on advancing all aspects of the undergraduate experience at the School of Engineering. He leads a dedicated team of professional staff and faculty, overseeing a broad portfolio of core functions and student-centered programs that support more than 4,500 engineers, including undergraduate academics, academic services, access and inclusion, recruitment, and first-year engineering experience.

Dean Cadena is responsible for coordinating all first-year student academic programs, advising, and registration. She coordinates and trains the SOE first-year advising team. She is responsible for evaluating first-year transcripts from other institutions as well as international baccalaureate, advanced placement, and A-level exam credits.
