The School of Engineering (SoE) hosts campus tours for prospective students and their families to provide an in-depth overview of the engineering departments and curricula. Campus tours run during the spring and fall semesters (typically during February-April and October-November) and take place on select Fridays. In addition, general SoE tours are available during the summer months. Students who are exploring their college options, but have not yet applied or been admitted to the Rutgers School of Engineering, will benefit from attending a Campus Engineering tour. These tours will focus more on the admissions criteria, the application process, and an overview of SoE.

What to Expect
In collaboration with Undergraduate Admissions, the Engineering Tour begins at the Rutgers University Visitors Center at 10:00 a.m. with an Admissions Info Session. Then, students and their families will participate in the 5-campus scarlet bus tour. You will have time to grab lunch on your own and will reconvene at 1:00 p.m. with an overview of the School of Engineering and a student panel. Each date will feature different engineering departments. Please select your tour date and featured departments carefully when you register. We cannot guarantee a switch on the day of your arrival.
If you would like to opt-out of the morning session, which includes the Admissions Info Session and 5-campus scarlet bus tour, you can register for the Engineering afternoon session here. Please note there are no bus tours on October 14 and November 7 and 8.
We will offer two weekend tours in Fall 2019. On these select dates, you will start your tour at the Visitors Center with an Admissions Info Session and School of Engineering Overview at 12:30 p.m. You will explore the New Brunswick campus on a bus tour, which will include a stop at the newest Engineering building, Richard Weeks Hall. There you will meet an Engineering student and learn more about our learning spaces and labs. The bus tour will conclude at the Visitors Center around 3:30 p.m.
