Trevor Rutledge-Leverenz

Trevor Rutledge-Leverenz is a strategic communications professional with over 14 years’ experience. As a senior public relations specialist within the Office for Research, Trevor works with the Research Communications and Marketing team to raise the university’s visibility and profile as a research powerhouse and bring its impact to life through internal and external multimedia communications efforts, with a focus on Innovation Ventures.  

Trevor grew up in Gainesville, FL and attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, where he majored in English and Spanish and minored in Theater. Following graduation, Trevor worked in sports radio in both the Bay Area and then New York City, before transitioning to public relations with the Rutgers Athletics Communications office. Trevor returns to the Banks after various sports information positions, including eight years at The Ivy League athletic conference office, which is a part of Princeton University.  

Trevor is currently in the process of earning his Master of Communication and Media from Rutgers University. He lives in Colonia with his wife Shannon, daughter Olivia, dog and two cats.
