Dr. Xiaobo Li received her PhD in Computer Graphics and Imaging from the Birmingham University, UK. She has extensive research experience in developing and implementing innovative analytic and machine learning techniques to quantitatively evaluate the structural and functional organizations in human brain, by using multi-modal neuroimaging (such as structural MRI, functional MRI, DTI) and clinical measurements. She also has extensive clinical application experience in brain development, aging, and disorders such as Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), etc.
Dr. Li’s work has been supported by NIMH research grants and has resulted in over 65+ peer-reviewed research articles in top-rated journals. Her most cited works to date (each has more than 100 citations) have been in the integrations of advanced graph theoretic techniques and machine learning methods to detect neurobiological markers of disease manifestations, and to predict clinical outcomes of severe brain disorders, such as ADHD and Schizophrenia.
