Vice-president of Panavision Inc.
Steve Levine is Vice-president of Manufacturing for Panavision Inc., which is located just west of Los Angeles, California. In this capacity he is responsible for the entire corporate supply chain. Founded in 1954, Panavision Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-precision camera systems, comprising of film and digital cameras, lenses, and accessories for the motion picture and television industries. Panavision systems are rented through its domestic and international owned and operated facilities and distributor network.
Previous to joining Panavision, Mr. Levine served as the Director of Continuous Improvement for Siemens Hearing Instruments where he drove productivity and quality related advances through Six Sigma and Kaizen events at all S.H.I.U.S. custom hearing aid manufacturing locations. He had earlier joined S.H.I. as the Director of Operations for the corporate manufacturing facility. Prior to that, Mr. Levine spent 15 years within Lucent and AT&T where he supported the manufacture of a wide array of telecommunication equipment as a Technical Manager. His earlier efforts within AT&T as a Senior Engineer were focused on implementing and supporting M.R.P. systems.
Mr. Levine holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, as well as a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a B.A. in Statistics from Rutgers University.
