School of Engineering undergraduate scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, community service, as well as financial need. Scholarships are for RETURNING students only, not incoming students. Please complete the application in its entirety. It is in your best interest to provide as much information as possible for the review committee.
It is important to file either a FAFSA or a Renewal FAFSA form (forms can be filed electronically or by mail-- forms are available in the Financial Aid Office in Records Hall). Be sure to document any special circumstances such as medical bills, unemployment verification, or any related bills that you think the committee should consider and attach them to your scholarship application.
For further information please contact Susan Thorn at the Office of Student Development.

Funded by alumni of the School of Engineering, this academic scholarship is available to juniors and seniors and includes a full academic scholarship, including books, for the final two years of study, a summer Industry internship during their junior summer, and mentorship and guidance “for life” from Rutgers alumni and members of the School of Engineering’s Industry Advisory Board. The award recognizes students who have demonstrated academic proficiency by maintaining greater than a B average through the first two years, a passion for their profession, important character qualities including leadership, honesty and integrity, and a desire to “give back” by helping other students.
