Dr. Hoang Pham receives title of “Engineer of the Year” Award from IEEE for 2009

Dr. Hoang Pham, recognized for his key contributions to reliability-related professional activities, receives title of “Engineer of the Year” for 2009 by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Dr. Hoang Pham, Professor and Chair for the Department of Industrial Engineering at Rutgers University, was recently selected as a recipient of the “Engineer of the Year” Award for 2009 by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). IEEE, the world’s largest technical society, publishes about 30% of the world’s technical papers in electronic and computer engineering while sponsoring technical conferences and meetings in over 147 countries. Reliability, the design engineering discipline that studies product performance over time, has grown with the key contributions of Dr. Hoang Pham’s outstanding technical achievements. Dr. Hoang Pham recognized for his demonstrated interest in IEEE, will receive his award at the annual Reliability, Availability and Maintainability Symposium (RAMS) in San Jose on January 23, 2010.
