Michael Ching was a senior leader on Wall Street with over 25 years of experience in equities research, sales, and capital markets. He retired as the Deputy Director of Americas Research at UBS with leadership responsibilities over 150 research analysts and associates. He was the co-chair of the firm's Investment Review Committee and a member of the Equities Capital Commitment Committee. Before his role in research management, Mr. Ching headed equities capital markets sales and TMT specialty sales at UBS.  Prior to that, he was a top-ranked research analyst at Merrill Lynch; he analyzed over 30 communications equipment companies and participated in over 40 transactions that raised over $1B in capital.

Prior to his Wall Street career, Mr. Ching was a manager and lead engineer at Bell Laboratories with 10 years of experience in large-scale data networks and high-speed fiber optics communications technology. He pioneered the use of advanced linear programming techniques to optimize asset deployment and designed the first private fiber optic network in the US.

Mr. Ching has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, an MSEE from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
