Dr. Nicholas Paraskevopoulos is sector vice president and general manager of Engineering, Science and Technologies for the Mission Systems sector for the Northrop Grumman Corporation. In this position, he has executive responsibility for all engineering, science, and technology development alon with the associated processes, services and systems across the sector. Prior to taking his current position, Dr. Paraskevopoulos was most recently the sector vice president of Engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics for the former Electronic Systems sector.
Dr. Paraskevopoulos joined the company in 2003 and has held a variety of leadership positions including a role as vice president of Advanced Maritime for the Advanced Concepts & Technologies division. He has also served as vice president of Engineering and director of Advanced Technology & Systems.
Before Dr. Paraskevopoulos came to Northrop Grumman, he was vice-president of Research & Development and Engineering for Terk Technologies in the Consumer Electronics Industry where he headed up the development of a variety of products ranging from a multi-satellite dish for DIRECTV to the first XM Satellite Radio car antennas to developing industry standards for A/V accessories for HDTV.
Dr. Paraskevopoulos has a B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S.E. and Ph.D. from Rutgers University in Electrical Engineering.
