Applied Sciences

Along with the other 8 majors, the School of Engineering offers an Applied Sciences major. Applied sciences in engineering is an individualized interdisciplinary program that is not subject to professional accreditation.

Applied Sciences is designed to fill a broad set of educational needs that is not covered by one of the other majors. Possible concentrations include: Packaging Engineering, Engineering Physics, Biomedical Science, and Premed (note: a Premed curriculum can be completed along with any other engineering major). Other fields may be covered to meet the special interests of engineering students.

The last two years of the program must be developed with the assistance of a Dean. If you are interested in Applied Sciences, see Dean Bernath for elective selection. Click here for a list of Applied Sciences degree requirements.
